BUILD Basics – September 2024

Build Basics is our core 8-week business and project planning course. This course provides educational resources for all the basics of starting and running your own business, including but not limited to licensing, financial literacy, and market research. Build Basics is perfect for aspiring and established entrepreneurs.

$350 or less: Income-based fee scale in effect!

This course will meet weekly on Saturdays from September 14 – November 2, virtually via Zoom from 10am – 1pm. The last session on November 2 nd will be an in-person graduation ceremony at BUILD Institute.

Co.Starters – September 2024

Co.Starters is a 10-week business development course for dreamers. This course provides the educational resources needed to turn an idea into a thriving and sustainable small business. Co.Starters is perfect for aspiring entrepreneurs or established entrepreneurs looking to launch a new product or business idea.

$250 or less: Income-based fee scale in effect! This course will meet weekly on Wednesdays from September 25 – December 4, in-person at BUILD Institute from 6pm – 9pm.

BUILD Social Impact – October 2024

BUILD Social Impact is an 8-week course designed for aspiring or established social entrepreneurs. BUILD Social Impact provides all the education and training of BUILD Basics while being specifically tailored to the unique needs of social enterprises, or businesses that utilize for-profit business models to achieve social goals.

$350 or less: Income-based fee scale in effect!

This course will meet weekly on Tuesdays from October 1 – November 19, in-person at BUILD Institute from 6 – 8:30pm.

Rebuild – October 2024

Rebuild is a 10-week course designed for established entrepreneurs looking to reevaluate and pivot their existing business models to adapt to significant changes and build towards sustainable growth.

PNC Financial Workshop – How Businesses Use Credit

In this workshop, small business owners will learn about different types of credit available such as lines of credit, credit cards and term loans, as well financing options from the Small Business Administration.

PNC Financial Workshop – Financial Emergencies

In this workshop, small business owners will learn about types of financial emergencies that can occur and how these emergencies can impact their businesses. They will learn strategies they can use to protect themselves from financial emergencies before they occur as well as how to prepare for financial emergencies by creating a personalized financial plan.
