What is Pet Shepherds of MI?

Pet Shepherds of MI is an in-home dog walking and pet sitting service. This means your pets stays in the comfort of their own home and we come to you. It is for busy professionals, people who travel, families, and people who have an injury or illness, or simply just unable to walk their pet. We are a service based business. We try to follow the clients’ routine as closely as possible.

What was your experience in the Build class?

My Build class was terrific and it helped me really hone in my idea by helping me understand what it costs to provide my service. It also helped me be disciplined so I could launch my business. Having deadlines helped. My instructor Delphia helped me by keeping us on track , and stressed the importance of making it a viable business before launching.

What are your recent developments?

I was able to launch! I started to obtain daily clients and vacation clients. This helped me take the leap. I am having so much fun. My life has gone to the dogs and cats (chuckle). A lot of my new clients are puppies and kittens and seeing them grow has been fantastic.

What is your long-term vision?

To be able to service southeast Michigan, and have employees who can service the various areas in Michigan. I want to be known as the “Uber” of dog walking and pet sitting, and the number one provider of pet services in Michigan.
