PNC Small Business Financial Statements Workshop

In this small business finance workshop, business owners will learn details of the three most important financial documents: balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. By the end of the workshop, business owners will be better able to prepare or work with a professional to prepare these documents for their businesses.

BUILD Basics Romulus

BUILD Institute is excited to announce our first cohort of BUILD Basics in Romulus! BUILD Basics is an 8-week cohort class designed to help aspiring or established entrepreneurs work through everything they need to complete their business plan, such as licensing, market research, business financials and more! In order to qualify for this program, participants must have their residential and/or business address located in Wayne County.

Co.Starters February 2025

Co.Starters is a 10-week business development program designed for aspiring entrepreneurs to put ideas into action and turn a passion into a sustainable and thriving small business. During Co.Starters, you’ll develop and fine-tune your business idea, building models based on your assumptions, tweaking your next steps through real-time customer feedback, learning valuable management and marketing skills and receiving constructive feedback from advisers, peers and local businesses. By honing your business and updating your approach based on real feedback and customer demand, you’ll gain the skills you need to develop a viable business model.

BUILD Basics February 2025

BUILD Basics is an 8-week cohort class designed to help aspiring or established entrepreneurs work through everything they need to complete their business plan, such as licensing, market research, business financials and more! Participants will leave the class with a completed business plan, a cohort of fellow entrepreneurs in Detroit, and the knowledge and confidence to take their small business to the next level.

BUILD Master Class - Detroit Media Training

Understanding the local media market is key to building valuable relationships with journalists and photographers. This master class will offer an in-depth exploration of the Detroit media market, especially print media, providing participants with the knowledge to engage with the right reporters and photographers.
